Tis the season to be grateful, fa la la la la, la la la la!
Thanksgiving is perhaps one of the most underappreciated holidays, but my absolute favorite. Thanksgiving is not marketable; one doesn’t give lavish gifts, or decorate to the max. Thanksgiving is usually about gathering of friends and family and sharing food and our blessing. We can’t even do that this year! UGH!!!
Unless we are intentional in our thoughts, we may spend the Thanksgiving season thinking of everything we are “missing” rather than things we are truly grateful for. And many of us have so much to be grateful for – myself included. While we may not be able to control our circumstance, we can control whether we CHOOSE to be grateful. With every decision, every life event, it is our choice to see the good in it. Even bad outcomes and decisions can be significant positives if we learn from them and become a better person. But we must choose that. I know that choosing gratitude isn’t always easy.
As 2020 moves to a close – THANK GOODNESS! I want you to know that I am grateful for you! Thank you for your trust and confidence in me. Thank you for the privilege to know and work with you. Thank you for trusting my advice. Thank you for being a patient investor; I know it’s not always easy. Most of all, thank you for choosing me as your partner on this journey.
Many thanks and cheers to a wonderful, happy, and healthy 2021.
